- No. InvestmentBag is for education and entertainment — a fun way to explore and understand your own portfolio. It is not financial, tax, or investment advice.
- How do you work out my gains and losses?
- We track exactly what you paid for every share and compare it to its value now. Behind the scenes we support the two standard methods accountants use — “first in, first out” (FIFO) and average cost (ACB) — and you can switch between them. New to those terms? No problem: the app explains every number in plain steps, so you never have to learn the jargon.
- Which brokers can I use?
- Any broker. If it lets you download your trade history as a file, Ibby figures out the columns for you automatically — no waiting on special integrations.
- Do you sell my data?
- No. Your data is yours. We never sell or share your trade history with anyone.
- What does the AI cost?
